First VLOG – Taking Action & Implement

First-VLOG---Taking-Action-&-Implement

Through that first official VLOG in English, I wanted to be an example of what it takes to succeed.

Leaders take action.

Successful people take action.

No matter which business, what product, which industry, no action = no result.

Are you interested in making videos yourself?

You may like VLOGGING: it’s fun, value content for your subscribers, and easy to get going.

Watch the video below to get a feel of VLOGGING:

This video was the first video I recorded this way in English. I’ve already published other videos I recorded after this one. I just wanted to let you know so you didn’t find it weird that I’m saying it’s my first VLOG. I’ve also done several VLOGs in French prior to this one in English, so I do have a bit of experience… 😉

How To Make a Great First VLOG:

Start with a high quality camera. Get a video camera with at least 720p quality to film with. People are more likely to subscribe to YouTubers that have high definition videos. I personally use my Iphone for the VLOG above, which is 1024p and I actually uploaded the video in 720p as it’s faster.

Be original. Don’t steal ideas from popular YouTubers, or anyone for that matter. Have fun, and think of what you’re going to say.

Take time to think of ideas when you’re not vlogging. When you get on camera, don’t stutter or think up something on the spot.

Once you’ve finished your video, edit! Buy editing software or use iMovie or Windows Live Movie Maker. If you don’t edit, you’ll lose the professional feel of your video. You can look up plenty of tutorials on using your software. Personally, I’m having my personal assistant in the Philippines do most of the editing. She’s using Premiere.

Use your description box! It’s available below the video on Youtube, and above and below any blog. Write about yourself and your video. If your first video is called MY FIRST VIDEO, don’t say it’s your first video in your description, because everybody will know, and that’s obnoxious.

There is a lot to say about VLOGGING but let’s start with that. If you’d like to know more about VLOGGING, leave a comment below and I’ll make sure to get you your answers. I might even write a serie of posts on VLOGGING if you are really interested (and you show me your interest!).

Let me know if you’d like more VLOGs like the one above 😉
