Online authority, you need it, you want it, but do you know how to earn it? Brand authority has nothing to do with justice… It’s about possessing personal power, that kind of power that shortens sales cycles and attracts buyers.

Everyone wants online authority but very few really know how to get it.

Building personal brand authority is probably the most important element of your marketing strategy for your online business.

You’ve probably heard different ways of building online authority such as create your own products, start a blog, or get interviewed. You unconsciously know what you need to do to build your brand authority just from looking at what other experts in your niche are doing and you’re trying to imitate them. But do you have a clear plan of action? Have you listed all the ways you’re going to use to build your brand? Or are you randomly doing this there and that over there?

I’ve put this blog post together so you could:

  • Grab a list of all the different ways to build your online brand
  • Select which ways fit your needs, wants and likes
  • Create a plan to build your online authority

As always, I’ve put a lot of time and effort to provide you an exhaustive list. I’ve filtered unrealistic or boring options that I would never do myself to leave you with the best solutions out there.

Compelling irresistible ideas come from having lots of ideas to choose from.

No one can come up with amazing ideas every time. But out of 10 ideas you come up  with, there’ll be one that’s great. Out of 10 that are great, one’ll be amazing. Out of 10 amazing ideas, you’ll get one outstanding ideas. That’s how you’ll end up writing compelling outstanding content for your audience. It takes practice, time and effort. Coming up with new ideas all the time is a muscle to train.

I’ve already put together a list of 100 ideas to create content. To help you some more (and me), I’ve put together a list of 37 ways to come up with new ideas for blog posts, Facebook posts, Twitter posts, well, pretty much any content out there you need to create.

  1. Keep a notebook and pen with you everywhere you go, or use your Notes App on your cell phone. There’s a good chance your best ideas won’t come up when you’re at your desk in front of your computer.
  2. Ask more “What if…” questions. Don’t be afraid to have completely crazy ideas. Learn to think beyond what seems obvious.
  3. Daydream. Allow yourself to daydream. In our highly productive society, it’s important to take time to do nothing and let your mind go wherever it wants to.
  4. Do not compare yourself to others. To build your brand, you want to stand out right?
  5. Try new things. Often when I go to a art exhibition, I get countless ideas for my blog posts. There’s no direct link between the two, it just stimulates my creativity.
  6. Brainstorm with your friends and family. There are probably things they’d want to know more about your business. Let them put you on track to finding new ideas. By the way, don’t judge and don’t make fun of them.
  7. Read, read and read some more. Online and offline. Take a book on one of your industry’s topic and go through it quickly.
  8. Take a bubble bath. Inactivity creates space for new ideas.
  9. Listen to music (Listen to Mozart)
  10. Physical activity, whether it’s indoor or outdoor. Just getting on your trampoline for 5 minutes can do the trick.
  11. Take a walk in nature (works like a charm )
  12. Stop and come back at it later, if you get stuck.
  13. Separate writing from research. First consume other people’s content during the research process. Consume lots of it. Then write.
  14. Read your old content. Could it be more detailed? More concise?
  15. Meditate. If you can’t meditate, sit still for 15 minutes
  16. Free-associate. Open the dictionary to a random word and write down everything it makes you think of.
  17. Write freely. Sometimes, we’re too focused on our objective, on the purpose of the content…
  18. Lie down for a moment.
  19. Laugh a little.
  20. Watch Youtube videos
  21. Do some yoga. If you don’t know any yoga poses, try simply stretching.
  22. Don’t expect perfection
  23. List problems
  24. Pray
  25. Draw a mandala
  26. Play (with your children for example). Play music if you know how to play an instrument.
  27. Try new food and drinks.
  28. Relive memories.
  29. Visit museums
  30. Do puzzles
  31. Clean your desk
  32. Separate writing from editing. Editing as you write will most certainly block your creativity
  33. Change your workspace – Source Social Control
  34. Look for questions – Source KissMetrics
  35. Play with your pets
  36. Garden
  37. Browse through pins on Pinterest

In the world of the online business industry, one of the most effective strategies to attract viewers to your site and build a relationship with your list is to VLOG (VLOG stands for Video Blog).

You can find more and more VLOG channels on Youtube nowadays. Travelers first started using video blogging to help show their viewers what experiences and adventures they were living while travelling in different places.

You too can use video blogging to show your viewers what you’re experiencing in your online business journey. VLOGGING is a fun and exciting way to document or film your activities. It’s an effective way to share what it’s like to be an online marketer in real life. VLOGGING can help you connect with your viewers.

The most important thing you should remember is to capture and maintain your viewer’s interests. You’ve probably noticed how people like to read content with beautiful pictures. Just look which Facebook posts get the most likes! If pictures can get their attention, can you imagine what VLOGGING can do for you?

VLOGGING is also great because it doesn’t require a large investment and it’s quick and easy to setup (which means you’ll probably make more videos). You can use your smartphone to record your video (as long as it’s at least 720p). I recommend you get a selfie stick: it will make it easier for you to get a good frame, while recording yourself, and you’ll be free to move around however you want. Even if they’re easy to make, pay attention to the quality of your videos: sometimes, less is more.

VLOGGING will definitely help you brand yourself when done right. You want to keep in mind who your target market is. If you’re an online marketer, your target market is probably not a 15 year-old girl trying to figure out how to use make-up. So even though you can get a lot of inspiration from watching VLOGs from travel or beauty Youtubers, you’ll want to be careful to focus on your target market’s interests.

VLOGGING is fun, easy and authentic. It will help build your brand and build trust with your audience. Consequently, it will increase your overall sales.

Examples of Successful VLOGGING Youtube Channels:

Mimi Ikoon – Fashion | Style | Inspiration

Marianna Hewitt – Vlogs Playlist

Wengie – Travel Vlogs

My Vlog Playlist

Here is a video on how to travel vlog:

Before you start VLOGGING, here are the steps to create your first VLOG:

1. Incorporate More of YOU

First and foremost, think what topics you want to talk about. What you’re talking about in the videos should be related one way or another to your target market’s interests. Incorporate in your videos what you like to do that makes you who you are. Find what you love to do in your life and list your interests: travel, cooking, food, golf, horses,…etc You should include your interests in your videos. Rather than doing a video in your office at home, why don’t you shoot your next video at the country club you’re a part of next time? I’ve personally loved sharing my surroundings. You’ll take your viewers into your world. It’s very important for people to get to know, like and trust you.

2. Grab The Right Tools

What’s great with VLOGGING is that you can keep it minimal. Since you’ll be moving around, your equipment should be light. And it should be handy. Sometimes, I find a great setting and I want to film right away. That’s why I use my cellphone. It’s 1024p but 720p is enough. If you haven’t got a cell phone with this video quality, you should get a light camera such as Canon PowerShot G7 X Digital Camera.

To get started with editing and production, you can simply use the software automatically available on your computer. On Windows, it’s Windows Movie Player. On Mac, it’s IMovie. Once you decide it’s a method you really want to push, you may want to use Camtasia (Windows), Premiere (Windows and Mac) or Final Cut Pro (Mac). Also, you’ll find a selfie stick handy (and inexpensive!).

3. Know What You’re Going To Say

A bunch of uh uh uh… at the beginning of your video is the greatest way to lose your viewer’s interests. Have at least an idea of what you’re going to talk about. I’ve never used scripts but if you’re unsure, you can try to use a script and see how you do. However, VLOGs are supposed to be natural, that’s what makes them authentic and fun. If you’ve got 3 points you want to cover in your video, it’s great because 3 points is easy to remember and the video will stay quite short. Just act naturally, smile and don’t be like a robot in your film. Let your viewers see you as you are. You should be enjoying this.

4. Edit and Produce Your Video

When you’re showing sceneries and landscapes and you’re not talking, you may want to add some music. Youtube now offers a library of free music. Most softwares also offer a music library. You’ll want to add your website link at the end as well. That’s the minimum editing. If you’re made some mistakes, you can always delete those parts. Delete also parts that are boring and too long. Even if what you’re saying is interesting, if you’re loosing attention when watching yourself, imagine what it will be when others watch you! At first, keep your video under 5 minutes.

5. Create your Own Video Channel

When the shooting is done, create your own Youtube account, upload your video on your channel, choose a title, add a description where you’ll insert the link to your website and your social media accounts and add tags. Tags will help your target market to easily find your videos.

I’ve layed out for you the minimalist process to create your first VLOG. You can use this process to create a checklist for your personal assistant on Trello. That’s what I do 😉

If you got value from this post, please leave a comment below 😉

As an online marketer, it’s important to grow your vision about becoming  an online millionaire.

In this video, I cover different ways to grow your millionaire mindset and making 6 and 7 figures online.

If you don’t know any online millionaires, or you only know Frank Kern, (the most famous one?), I’m telling you about 2 people that made over 1$ million online: Vick Strizheus and E. Brian Rose.

Through that first official VLOG in English, I wanted to be an example of what it takes to succeed.

Leaders take action.

Successful people take action.

No matter which business, what product, which industry, no action = no result.

Are you interested in making videos yourself?

You may like VLOGGING: it’s fun, value content for your subscribers, and easy to get going.

Watch the video below to get a feel of VLOGGING:

This video was the first video I recorded this way in English. I’ve already published other videos I recorded after this one. I just wanted to let you know so you didn’t find it weird that I’m saying it’s my first VLOG. I’ve also done several VLOGs in French prior to this one in English, so I do have a bit of experience… 😉

How To Make a Great First VLOG:

Start with a high quality camera. Get a video camera with at least 720p quality to film with. People are more likely to subscribe to YouTubers that have high definition videos. I personally use my Iphone for the VLOG above, which is 1024p and I actually uploaded the video in 720p as it’s faster.

Be original. Don’t steal ideas from popular YouTubers, or anyone for that matter. Have fun, and think of what you’re going to say.

Take time to think of ideas when you’re not vlogging. When you get on camera, don’t stutter or think up something on the spot.

Once you’ve finished your video, edit! Buy editing software or use iMovie or Windows Live Movie Maker. If you don’t edit, you’ll lose the professional feel of your video. You can look up plenty of tutorials on using your software. Personally, I’m having my personal assistant in the Philippines do most of the editing. She’s using Premiere.

Use your description box! It’s available below the video on Youtube, and above and below any blog. Write about yourself and your video. If your first video is called MY FIRST VIDEO, don’t say it’s your first video in your description, because everybody will know, and that’s obnoxious.

There is a lot to say about VLOGGING but let’s start with that. If you’d like to know more about VLOGGING, leave a comment below and I’ll make sure to get you your answers. I might even write a serie of posts on VLOGGING if you are really interested (and you show me your interest!).

Let me know if you’d like more VLOGs like the one above 😉

I’m probably not the first blog you read about online marketing freedom, having an online business and making money from home…

If you’re serious about starting your own online business, you’ve probably read dozens of blog posts, watched dozens of videos on Youtube, and checked out multiple products and biz opp’ to promote online. You’ve seen other top affiliate marketers tell you how they’re making thousands of dollars a day, how they’ve bought this wonderful fast car and so on… And that’s cool, I mean it’s part of the show-me-proof so I know you know what you’re talking about, as who would want to learn from a failure? Nobody!

There is good and bad in this. One thing is, when you’re getting started (or when you’re thinking about getting started), it’s kinda cool to see proof of income, nice cars, first class flights, and rolex watches, it gives you vision of what can be accomplished, of what’s possible.

But for many, maybe you, it’s hard to project yourself, because you even haven’t made $1,000 online yet. Or even $10,000. So when affiliate XYZ tell you about his nice car at $100,000, yes, it looks appealing, yes, you’re attracted to that, but do you see yourself in his shoes?

I know it was hard for me to believe at first. All I wanted to do when I got started was make my first sale. So yes, it was possible for others, but was it possible for me? I didn’t believe in me, I didn’t believe I could reach that type of income, nonetheless online…

So I thought about it for a while… The Pro’s and Con’s…

After really thinking about it deeply, I realized that what would really help YOUR vision develop would be to see what online freedom is like in “normal life”: Everyone talks about not upgrading your lifestyle too fast and how important it is to invest in real estate, the stock market…etc but every successful affiliates seem to be living in a huge villa with palm trees outside, driving a Ferrari and buying $1,000 suits. Well, we don’t do that, (yet anyway). We’re focused on building our wealth.

Also we’re very aware of something, that is:

“Western people confuse happiness with comfort”.

We do buy “nice things” once in a while, but we stay focused on the long-term, which is grow our wealth.

Growing your wealth doesn’t start with spending all your money

What’s really cool about online freedom is that you design your lifestyle that exact way you want it to be. And that’s what we’re doing.

I’ve started Vlogging a few months ago, but only shot a few videos in English. We actually had the opportunity to go to a wellness exhibition and I thought I would show you some of it. Also, I wanted to capture the great feeling of having your business work for you, while you’re doing what you love. Awesome!

Watch the first video below:

I hope you’ve enjoyed this short video on our way to the wellness exhibition.

Here is the second video I produced the same day:

Let me know if you enjoy these type of videos. It’s called Vlogging. Personally, I think they’re really nice to shoot and they come out great but I’d really like to hear from you, to hear your feedback. It’s very important to me that you tell me what you enjoy, and what you don’t, what helps you, and what doesn’t. Leave a comment below

Are you a lonely marketer fighting daily against traffic, leads, affiliate links and optimization, trying to figure out this internet marketing “thing”?

Are you skipping daysnot emailing your list every day like you should – because you’re not getting much results and you don’t see how it makes a difference?

Are you here for the big money but just making a few bucks here and there?

We all go through this time of self-doubt, especially in the beginning where we don’t have a whole lot of results to show off for.

You may be hesitant, doubting your actions and yourself, asking countless of questions to yourself and trying to figure out the answers in your mind.

You may be juggling between all the options you have, not really knowing which one is best.

Doubt creates lack of actions or the wrong actions, and you could end up more broke than when you started.

But let’s not take ourselves down because there is one solution to all of these problems, a really great one, that without, could put a quick end to your internet marketing adventure, but with it, could explode your results!

Introduction to Group Coaching

I’ve told you about group coaching before, actually Facebook Marketing group coaching, but today I wanted to focus on internet marketing group coaching.

What’s in it for you? What benefits can you expect from group coaching?

Well, one of the things that most internet marketing newbies suffers from, when getting started, is lack of consistency (because of lack of certainty).

You may have a J.O.B., 4 kids to feed, a house to take care of, and we all have very busy life anyway.

You usually start out all very excited, jumping all around the place and implementing every little tactics that you read about (hopefully).

But then as time passes by and you don’t see the millions knocking on your door, you start to get discouraged and not being so consistent.

Then, you find one video that really motivates you and you’re all over the place again, doing 10 things at once, trying to make this internet marketing thing work.

As the days go on, and the results don’t really show up (you may not see them even if they’re there…), you stop doing what really matters, you’re wasting time on activities that don’t matter but make you avoid those that are more challenging for you…

And eventually you quit!

OR you become part of a group of like-minded people that help each others!

I’m sure you’ve heard it before if you’ve done some personal development already…

Having a mentor is worth A LOT!

Group Coaching with a Millionaire Mentor

Your mentor will keep you accountable. He’ll also encourage you when you need it, reassure you on the correct activities you’re doing that are going to produce results, even if you can’t see the results yet, and he’ll help you stay away from time-wasting activities.

But to actually be reassured and inspired, you need a mentor you believe. A mentor who inspires you.

Best of best, since you’re serious about making 6 figures, you need a mentor who is a millionaire…

But here is the problem!

Most millionaires don’t mentor newbies.

And those that do… are extremely expensive.

Since their time is worth so much, and that they’re not willing to exchange their time for money, you’re probably wondering: How are you going to gain access to one of them?

Personally I’ve given a lot of thoughts when it comes to offering my services as a coach. I’ve been a mentor to thousands of people already, most of the time, for free. I’m always happy to share some advice and answer a couple of questions when I meet you at events.

But really, being a coach is about exchanging your time for money. And I’ve decided long ago that I didn’t want to fall into that trap ever again. I also realize that to really live an extraordinary life and produce extraordinary results, I personally need a lot of free time, 3-5 hours in a raw, to think, explore and create.

Is that your case too?

So I just don’t see myself having 6 coaching clients a day. Or even 4 for that matter.

Have you thought about offering your coaching services? What’s it for you?

  • Contribution?
  • Another stream of income?
  • A way for you to grow?

Have you thought about the fact that it’s another way to exchange your time for money?

Unless you’re really driven by this profession, that you’re really passionate, and you have a huge will to contribute this way, then you really should be a coach and offer your services as a coach.

But most internet millionaires are not coaches at heart.

So let’s recap:

  1. You want an internet millionaire who inspires you and who you believe in.
  2. The purpose of a coach/mentor is to keep you accountable, motivated and on track.
  3. A coach/mentor will help you grow your vision so that you keep your efforts up even if you don’t see the results right away.
  4. An internet millionaire coach/mentor will reveal to you strategies and tactics you didn’t even start to think about: you’ll jump through the challenges and even run through challenges that were looking for you without looking back!
  5. You want a coach/mentor you can have access to every day, not once a month or only during a seminar on the other side of the world. Your questions deserve an answer right away!

And of course, you want it to be affordable! Because you’re not a millionaire YET!

Don’t worry, I know that, and that’s why I’m telling you about this.

Group Coaching, The Great Solution

There is a great solution, and it’s called “Group Coaching”.

Rather than talking one-on-one to your favorite millionaire, you can gain access to him through an online group or forum, that will help everybody in the community, where HE comes on every day and answers YOUR questions!

Here are the benefits of group coaching:

  • Group coaching is much better than no coaching at all. Staying alone, hidden behind your computer is the worst that can happen to you!
  • Group coaching is obviously more affordable than one-on-one coaching. When getting coached by a millionaire is probably out of your reach right now, group coaching is more likely in your budget.
  • Group coaching by a millionaire is much better quality than coaching with an average coach who’s never built a business.
  • You can get your questions answered 24/7. Since there is a community, you can get your questions answered by other people that are part of it. Yes, some questions will need the insight of your favorite millionaire, but some of technical stuff, best tools to use,…etc might be answered as well by other people in the community, and you get your answer right away, and you can move on.

So are you ready to enjoy and harness the benefits of being part of a coaching group hosted by THE internet millionaire?

Then you’re probably going to want to have a look at the Millionaire Within “Ask Me Anything Forum”.

It’s part of the Millionaire Within book package from E. Brian Rose, who created the JVZOO affiliate platform (over $75 million in revenue!). You’ll get 6 month access to E. Brian Rose who will personally answer any question you have about growing your 6 figure online business.

You’ve heard of online millionaires… such as Vick Strizheus, who claims to have made $3 million online, including one three week period where he earned $728,000 (which is said to have broken records in the network marketing/affiliate marketing space).

Since you want to be an online millionaire as well and live the Dot Com Lifestyle, let’s see together what makes an online millionaire. There are actually 3 very straight-forward steps that every online millionaire has taken, and you need to know exactly what they are… or you’ll be wasting your time with activities that are not worth it.

On top of that, knowing exactly what must be done will save you a lot of time and frustration.

Ok, so let’s get started with the first one…

Step #1: Earn a commission online

I bet you could have guessed that one. But do you make it your priority every day… or do you get distracted by other tasks and social media… and?

It’s very easy to get distracted in the online world, especially with blinking banners, and social media.

But now that you know that the first step to become an online millionaire is to earn a commission online, you can put all your energy, effort and ressources into accomplishing just that!

Have you earned a commission online already? Congratulations! You’re on the right track to success and becoming an online millionaire.

Every millionaire knows its basics, and this is one of them. Posting pictures on your Facebook fan page is not really the priority. It will help grow your brand, obviously, but there are faster and more efficient ways to start generating your first online commission. For example, with Facebook PPC to start driving targeted traffic to your offer.

This doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t be posting your pictures on your Facebook fan page to grow your brand.

It just means that this shouldn’t be your top priority when you start your day. Your top priority should be to make sure you’re driving top of the notch traffic to your offer so that you convert that first sale and make your first commission online. You really don’t need to be an expert or have a famous brand online to bring in a $19 commission.

If you need guidance as to how to drive traffic, where to drive traffic and how to pick your offer, check out my Lead Generation Guide, which will help you tremendously get everything going.

Now that you’ve generated your first sale (or that you’re all set to do so), let’s see what the second step is…

Step #2: Understand how to do it over again and repeat the process

Oh yeah! I love that one.

Did you honestly think it was more complicated?

You’ve done it already once, let’s do it again.

But to do that, you need to know how you made it in the first place.

It goes without saying that you need to track your results!

And that’s just one little tip to make your results duplicatable.

There are a few (I’m being positive here) other things that you’d need to know to really make this an over-and-over-again process.

For example, if you’ve sent your offer to a list you’ve been building for 5 years without selling them anything but who know, like and trust you, and you’re sending them your offer, it’s likely that they’re going to buy. However, once you’ve sent your offer several times to this same list, we could honestly assume that everyone that was ready to buy, bought it. So now, you need to do the same thing again, but you don’t want to have to wait another 5 years. That’s where “repeating the process” comes in…

It comes with a traffic source that’s unlimited. If you can have an unlimited of targeted visitors sent to your landing page everyday, and you already know that that traffic converts, it’s a great way to accomplish Step #1 over and over again.

At that point, you could be making several thousands of dollars every month, end even more.

But you’re here to be an online millionaire, so there is a third step to go through:

Step #3: Scale and leverage your campaign (and your business)

Oh YEAH! That’s the third and last step of the process.

You now need to scale your business, meaning you need to be able to take the world!

Going through those steps sounds obvious to you now that I’ve laid them out, but do you know how to do it?

For example, scaling with paid traffic is much more easier than scaling with free traffic. If you’re posting blog posts on your blog every day already, and you’ve got great SEO and getting most of your traffic from your blog, then what do you do? Write 3 blog posts a day? 30 blog posts a day? You see that it’s hard to scale, because you can’t clone yourself, and honestly it’s not that easy to outsource your writing, because it’s got your own voice. And we all know the best copywriter are tremendously expensive!

Then what? Paid traffic!

Why? Because most of the time, all you have to do is add money to the table. More money, more leads. More leads, more sales. More sales, more commissions.

Scaling with paid traffic is straight forward. While with free traffic, it really isn’t.

No mentioning that if you rely entirely on free traffic to generate leads, you’ve just bought yourself a J.O.B.!

But I thought you were trying to get out of a job???

If you’re spending 8 hours a day writing and doing SEO, promoting your blog posts on all social media, looking for topics to cover…etc, no matter how much money this generates for you, you have a J.O.B. Because if you stop posting on your blog, your SEO will drop. No mentioning that it won’t look good! If you’re wondering why I have a blog then, this will answer your question right here…

So using paid traffic is one way to scale your business, but it’s definitely NOT the only one thing you need to know.

Actually there would be much more to say about these 3 steps and who better than one of the breaking-records online millionaire to teach you all about it. I’m calling Vick Strizheus! Remember, I told you about him in the intro 😉

Vick Strizheus, came out with Project Breakthrough, which is Industry’s most comprehensive, step-by-step training program specifically designed to help you do 3 things:

  1. Earn a commission online
